Tour a tranquil Toti garden
Botsoc hosts a garden tour in a tranquil Toti garden on Sunday, 27 October.

This property is 1 300 square metres and was originally totally exotic. Over the past 18 years, Lydia Petre has lived there, she slowly cleared the exotics and replaced with indigenous species. The garden is water-wise and, other than the pots, never gets watered. Indigenous trees, rocks, pot-plants and a tranquil atmosphere are just some of the attractions.
Lydia will lead leisurely tours around her garden starting promptly at 9.30am and 11.30am. Relax and enjoy tea and cake afterwards.
Booking and pre-payment are essential. BotSoc members pay R60, non-members R70 and children under 12 pay R35. Price includes tea and cake. To book, send your name and cellphone number to botsoc-kzn@mweb.co.za or call on 031-201-5111 or 071-869-3693. Numbers are limited to 20 people per tour.
Proceeds go to BotSoc branch projects.
