Bowlers get handy at Winkle Bowling Club

Winklespruit Bowling Club members are reminded that the club’s prize-giving takes place on Saturday, 26 October, at 9.30am for 10am.
There will be a bring and braai after the prize-giving, wear whites.
The club thanks Barrie de Wee and Barry Hilton for their time and handy work in fixing one of the benches which was in need of repair. The club thanks all members who have turned up at the Bowling Club to assist with the maintenance of the green.
The attendance draw was won by Tony Fitzsimmons.
There will be a meal on Friday evening, 18 October. Spaghetti bolognaise and salad is on the menu with a surprise pudding. Contact Norma Raath should you wish to attend.
New summer starting time for social bowls in November when the greens re-open will be 2.30pm for 3pm. The club wishes all those with birthdays in October a blessed year ahead.
The club will be open to watch the rugby match between South Africa and Japan on Sunday, 20 October, the game starts at 12.15pm and the club will open from 11.30am.
Bring your meat and salads as a fire will be lit for those wanting to braai.
