Jabulani hosts successful fundraiser

The old age home caters for locals who are dependant on SASSA grants.

Delicious treats were the order of the day on Saturday, 6 March. In an effort to raise much-needed funds for Jabulani Senior Citizens Residence, mouth-watering boerwors rolls were sold at the organisation’s premises and Amanzimtoti Cricket Club. R2600 was raised between both venues.

“We had a fantastic turnout,” said the organisation’s Jolene Berry. “It was amazing to see the community come out and support us. Most of the rolls were sold at the drive through sale at Jabulani.”

The old age home caters for locals who are dependant on SASSA grants. It is also not subsidised by government. To assist the organisation, use the following banking details: account name: KWOFTA, Nedbank Amanzimtoti, savings account, branch code: 198765, account number: 2057049183.
