A motorist was shot during an attempted hijacking and two suspects were apprehended, in Isipingo, a short while ago.
“Our K9 unit, armed response unit and ambulance responded to a shooting. Two of the suspects were arrested following a search by PT Tactical unit and Umlazi SAPS K9. The suspects, alleged to be four males, fled on foot after attempting to hijack a motorist,” said spokesperson of PT Alarms, Trishen Govender.
The search for the remaining suspects is underway.
