Kamalinee Primary School’s women honoured

Kamalinee Primary School held a special assembly on Friday, 19 March, to honour its dedicated and committed women staff members for doing a sterling job in ensuring that there are educators, mothers, caregivers, counsellors and above all rendering tender love and care.

 

Kamalinee Primary School celebrates memorial in honour of the late King Goodwill Zwelenthini and Human Rights Day

On Friday, 19 March, Kamalinee Primary School staff and learners held a special assembly to commemorate the death of the King, Goodwill Zwelenthini. Teachers and learners honoured the departed King by hoisting the South African flag at half mast. Speeches and dance items were presented and performed by the learners.

In a special commemoration of the 26th anniversary of Human Rights Day, learners were enlightened on the significance and importance in the history of our nation. All events were educational and thoroughly enjoyed by all learners present.

 

Talk sign initiative

Kamalinee Primary School has been supporting the talk sign initiative for many years and continues to do so. This year learners were allowed to wear civvies to school if they purchased a talk sign sticker for R10.

All proceeds went to the KZN Blind and Deaf Society.
