A 35-year-old woman was shot and killed in Postum Road, Isipingo on Friday, 30 April. A 17-year-old teenager was also shot by unknown suspects.
“The woman sustained gunshot wound on the abdomen and was declared dead at the scene. The other victim was also shot and was taken to hospital for medical attention,” said provincial police spokesperson, Captain Nqobile Gwala.
PT Alarms and members of Isipingo SAPS attended to the scene of the crime. Charges of murder and attempted murder were opened at Isipingo police station for investigation.
