[WATCH] – Storage units looted and burnt

As the shooting started between the police and the perpetrators, the woman said there is nothing she can do but go home where she can be safe.

 

A STORAGE facility in Amanzimtoti was left a smoldering mess on Tuesday morning after looters descended on it and tore the place up.

After stealing everything they could take, they set the units on fire, burning and destroying all that they could not carry. The facility is around the corner from the Southgate Industrial Park where looting also happened on Monday. Unit owners were inconsolable as they recounted their loss.
