Hope and joy at Amanzimtoti Women’s Institute

The club was founded 92 years ago and encourages more women to join. 

Members of the Amanzimtoti Women’s Institute welcomed local artist, Christine Andrews, for a morning meet filled with joy and hope. The exciting event was held at the Amanzimtoti Golf Course and the women were delighted to hear Christine’s testimonial of how she was able to overcome challenges in her life while trusting God to lead her onto her destined path.

President of the club, Myrna Olyott, expressed her sincere appreciation to Christine and thanked her for her dedication. The talented artist was also gifted with handmade crafts and a beautiful quilt that all of the members knitted together. The attendees were also treated to a delicious breakfast. The day also included a judging of crafts and cookery.

The club was founded 92 years ago and encourages more women to join.  The Amanzimtoti Women’s Institute aims to rally community support. It is a part of a huge international community of women who have managed to lobby to bring about changes from time to time and to make a difference in the lives of others around the world.
