Knit-a-thon raises donations for Khanya Hospice
Open to all who wished to knit or crochet squares for blankets or donate ready-made ones, the event was filled with fellowship and fun.
THE Khanya Hospice annual Community Hospice Outreach knit-a-thon/crochet-a-thon fundraiser was held at the Amanzimtoti Methodist Church on August 22.

Open to all who wished to knit or crochet squares for blankets or donate ready-made ones, the event was filled with fellowship and fun. Beanies, scarves and bed socks were also donated. The entry fees and the knitted items were donated to Khanya Hospice.
Khanya Hospice receives no government funding and relies on donations from the community. The organisation is raising funds to establish an in-care facility on the South Coast.
Khanya Hospice covers the region from Isipingo Beach to Hibberdene and the surrounding inland areas.
