Old age home says thank you
"We raised a total of R3 550 on the day," said admin secretary of Jabulani, Jolene Berry.
HEARTY meals were served up at Jabulani Old Age Home on Saturday, October 9.
Scrumptious curry and rice and pancakes made by the residents were sold out in no time. The residents were delighted to welcome the community for the drive-through fundraiser.
“Thank you to the wonderful community for supporting the fundraiser. It certainly left smiles on the faces of the residents. We raised a total of R3 550 on the day,” said admin secretary of Jabulani, Jolene Berry.
The old age home caters for local Sassa people and is not subsidised by the government.
