Break-in suspect swiftly arrested in Amanzimtoti
The arrest was made after a neighbour saw the crime being committed.
A MAN was arrested this morning (Wednesday, January 5) when he was caught with suspected stolen property.

According to a statement from the Community Crime Prevention Amanzimtoti (CCPO), a resident, who lives near Total garage on Andrew Zondo Road in Amanzimtoti, raised the alarm when they witnessed a person breaking into a neighbour’s garage.
“A short while later, CCPO’s supervisor, Logan, and his crew caught the suspect in possession of a stolen high-pressure cleaner and clothes from the line,” said the CCPO.
The man was apprehended and handed over to the police.
