Don’t miss this year’s first Mahala Tea
Donations collected at the event will enable The Robin Hood Foundation to host their next Mahala Market, affording those in need to 'shop' for free.

THE Robin Hood Foundation will host its first Mahala Tea of the year on April 20. The tea will start at 08:30 and run until 10:30 with plenty of fun activities planned.
The Mahala Tea serves to raise funds and collect donations for the foundation’s Mahala Markets, which afford members of the community the chance to ‘shop’ for free. Through the Mahala Market, The Robin Hood Foundation shares pre-loved items with hundreds of elderly community members, child headed households, orphanages and crèches throughout KZN.

Those attending the tea can opt to bring one bag (or more) of their preloved goodies as a donation or pay R150 at the door. Those opting to bring a bag of goodies are asked to fill it with high quality clothing, linens, shoes or other ‘treasures’. The tea also offers attendees a chance to network, enjoy inspirational words from guest speakers and, of course, enjoy refreshments.
