Operation Bobbi Bear is a Doonside-based human rights organisation that works with and assists sexually abused children. CEO of the organisation, Eureka Olivier, said the donation could not come at a better time.

“I would like to thank Desire from the bottom of my heart for this wonderful gesture. With all the disasters that we have experienced, from looting to flooding, the children have been going through a hard time,” said Olivier.

Jäckel has started knitting another batch of beanies that will be donated to Jona Vaughan Home for the Handicapped.
