Survey to be conducted in Amanzimtoti
The Income and Expenditure Survey is conducted to collect information that enables the government to better serve its citizens.
Statistics South Africa will be conducting a targeted Income and Expenditure Survey (IES) from November 2022 to November 2023 in Amanzimtoti and across South Africa.

IES is a household-based survey that collects information on all acquisitions, consumptions, spending, and income earned which aims to provide appropriate and reliable information on life circumstances and service delivery at national, provincial, and municipal levels.
The initial test area containing the identified households is between Ndongeni, Entombeni, Glen, Greenside, and School roads. Cleary identified field workers will soon start arriving at the target households.
