JUST IN: Family fatally attacked near Amanzimtoti

Apparently, this is not the first time that the family has been attacked.

FOUR people from the same family were shot dead in Mfume, south-west of Amanzimtoti, this morning.

A police source said a married couple in their 60s, their child, and grandchild were attacked by unknown gunmen during the early hours. A visitor who was sleeping over was also shot and injured.

“The crime scene is still active, and the investigating team is busy processing it. The motive of this attack is unknown at this stage,” said the police source.

It was also revealed to the SUN that it was not the first time the family had been attacked.
