Accident on Amanzimtoti N2

Motorists are urged to use alternative routes due to a bus accident on the N2 South near Take 'n Pay and the Amanzimtoti River bridge.

AN ACCIDENT has occurred on the N2 southbound carriage in Amanzimtoti, and motorists have been advised to take alternative routes.

The bus involved in the accident.

The accident involved a bus and an SUV just before 15:00, and it happened near the Amanzimtoti off-ramp. Some emergency personnel have made it to the scene and have started the process of assisting those involved. Road users can use Andrew Zondo Road until the accident scene is cleared.

All road users are advised to be cautious.
