Water outage in parts of Isipingo

Plumbers are tending to the burst pipe on Sucrose Road. Isipingo Hills and Isipingo Rail residents are urged to collect water from the water tankers that are moving through the area.

WARD 90 councillor Shad Nowbuth said that Isipingo Hills and Isipingo Rail do not have water, and the problem is being fixed.

“The City’s water department is aware of the water outages in the affected areas. Plumbers have been dispatched to the repair site on Sucrose Road. A TLB is currently engaged in exposing the damaged water pipe so that repairs can start. Two water tankers have been dispatched to supply water to the affected areas. Please be on the lookout for the tankers,” said Nowbuth.

Repairs are expected to be completed by today (June 28).
