Whale and its calf wash out onto beach in Athlone Park [Video]

It is believed the whale died giving birth to its calf.

A WHALE, which apparently died giving birth, washed out onto a beach in Athlone Park this morning (August 14).

Emergency services are already at the scene, and work has started to properly dispose of both carcasses to minimise pollution and water contamination. Read more in the South Coast SUN tomorrow.
