A business intelligence analyst by profession, Terricia is also a proud graduate of the University of KwaZulu-Natal where she earned her Master’s degree in Science, graduating cum laude. She completed her high school education at Kingsway High School.

Terricia describes her journey as one that blends the richness of her Indian heritage with the dynamic energy of South Africa.

“I am deeply honoured to be a finalist in this competition. As a woman of Indian descent, this platform offers me the opportunity to celebrate our culture and advocate for the values that uplift our communities,” she said.

Rooted in traditional values and inspired by the legacy of Nelson Mandela, Terricia has always been dedicated to community service. Her involvement with the Isha Foundation, the Save Soil initiative as an Earth Buddy, and her support for local organisations such as the Merebank Tamil School Society and Autism Awareness fundraisers reflects her commitment to both environmental sustainability and social welfare.

For Terricia, true beauty is not just about appearance but also about making a positive impact in the world. She envisions a future where young women embrace their heritage with pride while boldly pursuing their aspirations. She aims to bridge the gap between tradition and progress, championing the causes of education and conscious living.

To maintain balance in her life, Terricia practices yoga, meditation and dance while also connecting with nature. She believes this harmony helps her approach life’s challenges with grace and purpose. “This equilibrium allows me to navigate challenges with a sense of calm and clarity,” she said.

The Miss India South Africa pageant will take place on December 7 at the Durban Jewish Centre.
