Lifeless body found at private pool in Kingsburgh
This is the second drowning that paramedics have responded to today on the South Coast. Residents are urged to exercise caution around pools.
THE lifeless body of a man, believed to be in his 50s, was found near a private pool in Kingsburgh.
According to ALS Paramedics, the body was found in Macdonald Road at around 19:00 on Sunday, December 22.

“When Paramedics arrived on the scene, it was found that the man had sustained severe injuries and there was nothing the paramedics could do to save him. He was declared dead on the scene,” the statement read.
The events leading up to the drowning are unknown and Amanzimtoti police were in attendance and will be investigating further.
“This is the second drowning that ALS Paramedics have responded to this afternoon. We urge people to please be careful when swimming and not to swim under the influence of any substance,” the statement read.
