2 000 Landy lights bring Christmas cheer to Amanzimtoti

A lit up Land Rover boasting 2 000 lights has created a wonderful Christmas atmosphere in Amanzimtoti during the festive season this year.

ALMOST 2 000 Christmas lights adorning the exterior of their trusty Land Rover turned Christmas into a sparkling occasion and ensured that Shelwyn and Crystal Kaldhari from Amanzimtoti, brought festive cheer to this coastal town.

Social media was flooded with messages about their lit up Landy when the couple drove through Toti handing out gifts to children.

According to Crystal, this year just felt like Christmas. She said that since the Covid-19 pandemic, Christmas hadn’t felt the same.

“We are thrilled to see the impact it has had in the community,” she said with eyes sparkling.
