Fairytale doors open world of reading for learners [Pics]

The doors to the fantastical world of reading were adorned with decorations inspired by some of Athlone Primary teachers' favourite books.

Staff and the principal of Athlone Park Primary School decorated their classroom doors to inspire children to read.

LEARNERS step into fantasy worlds of wonder and intrigue as Athlone Park Primary School staff and learners put together a project for promoting reading.

The theme for this year is ‘Get excited about reading,’ and that is what the staff and learners did, with each member of staff’s door decorated from top to bottom using their favourite book as inspiration.

From the wizardry and witchcraft of the Harry Potter series to the Disney magic of Rapunzel, each classroom now represents stepping into the pages of some of the most adored fictional worlds.
