New church opens in Athlone Park

The pastor of the new church, Pastor Mathabo Masilela, was ordained as a Full Gospel Church minister in 2019 and hopes to empower families.

A NEW church has opened in Athlone Park, and the community is invited to attend. The Immanuel Full Gospel Church is now open at 6 Warner Road.

Pastor Mathabo Masilela said the church’s assignment is to reach and empower families through teaching and preaching of the Word of God weekly, marriage and individual counselling, welfare, and children’s ministry. Prayer meetings are held every Tuesday at 07:00.

“I was ordained as a Full Gospel Church minister in 2019 and served at Sweetwaters Full Gospel Church from 2017 until 2022. Immanuel Full Gospel Church is thankful to the Methodist Church led by Reverend André du Plooy for allowing us to use their premises,” she said.

All are welcome to attend service each Sunday at 10:00.
