City is aware of power outages

The City has promised that power will be restored soon.

ETHEKWINI Municipality has said it is aware of power outages affecting various areas and promised that restoration will be done soon. Currently, there is no power in parts of Amanzimtoti, Umbumbulu, Lotus Park, Isipingo, and Bhekulwandle.

“Our technicians are working on restoring power,” said municipal spokesperson, Msawakhe Mayisela.
Faults can be reported via WhatsApp on 076 791 2449. To follow up on a reported outage, send an email to electricity.faults@durban.gov.za or call 080 311 1111.
