Power outages are being attended to

Residents are urged to treat all power cables as live during this time.

FRUSTRATIONS are escalating as more areas are experiencing power outages that are coming on top of the regularly scheduled load-shedding. Folweni and Lovu have seen growing unrest as the communities have taken to the street to express their dissatisfaction.

ALSO: City is aware of power outages

eThekwini Municipality has asked for calm and said the outages affecting the following areas are being attended to by its technicians:

• Adam’s Mission
• Nsimbini
• Bhekulwandle
• Folweni
• Kwafakazi
• Prospecton industrial
• Malukazi

Residents are urged to treat all power cables as live during this time.
