De Jager’s bail application resumes, community demands bail be denied
Community members are back at the Amanzimtoti Magistrate's Court today to stand in solidarity and demand Werner de Jager be denied bail.
THE state will be submitting its final arguments in the Werner de Jager case today (February 6) following delays in yesterday’s court proceedings.
The magistrate tried by all means to reach a decision on whether the bail application could be finalised, however, a late start to the day, and the state and De Jager’s defence being unable to reach an agreement, resulted in the case being adjourned.
