On September 18, the USCAA hosted a cheese and wine at the pop-up gallery, which was attended by members of the public, artists, as well as eThekwini Municipality’s representatives.

At the event, Chris Randlehoff from the Department of Arts Culture and Sports said it was pleasing to see such works of art by local artists.

“There has never been a gallery in Amanzimtoti since Covid-19. This is an opportunity to show that we need a gallery in this area to give artists a place where they can exhibit their work, and the community to enjoy the art,” said Randlehoff.
