[Video] Horrific fatal Isipingo accident leads to road closure

Three vehicles were involved in a collision on the R102 in Isipingo opposite the old airport. Motorists are urged to exercise caution.

ONE person died in an accident involving three vehicles on the R102 in Isipingo opposite the old airport at around midday today (March 31).

ALS Paramedics’ spokesperson Garrith Jamieson said the accident involved two cars and a truck. One person was declared dead at the scene and another who was critically injured was airlifted to hospital. Events leading to the accident are unknown and will be subject to a police investigation.

The road remains closed while authorities process the scene.
