Amanzimtoti and Isipingo water updates

Several water and electricity have been reported in wards 90 and 97 during the Easter weekend.

Amanzimtoti:
Water supply to the CBD has been temporarily closed to attend to a leak on the 150mm main line on Kingsway Road between the Amanzimtoti River bridge and the Take and Pay traffic lights. Motorists are urged to be cautious as the stretch has been reduced to a single lane while repairs continue.

Isipingo:
Hillside Road and Ocean Terrace residents are on their third day without water. Ward 90 councillor, Shad Nowbuth, said the fault was reported but no action has been taken.

Lotus Park, Isipingo:
A water outage is affecting residents at Pelican Park and the adjacent Phase 3 roads. Nowbuth said the possible cause of the outage could be a fault at the Pelican Drive reservoir. The matter has been reported and a reference number was issue.
