[Video] Amanzimtoti floods prompt warnings

With more rain predicted throughout the day emergency services urge motorists to avoid unnecessary travel.

OVERNIGHT rain left many parts of Amanzimtoti severely flooded this morning (April 25). With more rain predicted, motorists and residents have been asked to exercise caution and heed all warnings.

The South African Weather Service asked residents in low-lying areas to move to higher ground, and motorists to travel only when necessary.
