With payments scheduled from May 6 to 8, beneficiaries are urged to stay informed and prepare accordingly to ensure a smooth and stress-free collection experience. This structured schedule ensures that payments are organised, reducing congestion and making it easier for recipients to access their grants.

Grant payment dates:

• Old age – May 6
• Disability – May 7
• Child Support – May 8

SASSA urges all grant beneficiaries to make sure their banking and card details are up to date to avoid delays in receiving payments. To avoid long queues and ATM congestion, recipients are also encouraged to collect their funds a day after their disbursal date.
