Female officers conduct roadblock in Folweni
Folweni police station's commander, Lieutenant Colonel Nkululeko Kweyama, praised the female officers for their effort and commitment in creating a safer space for the community by enforcing the law.
FOLWENI police station’s female officers conducted a successful Operation Basadi roadblock on the M35 in Mangamazini near Folweni recently.

The station’s spokesperson, Warrant Officer Phumzile Ndlela, said the operation was led by Captain Thando Mzimela, the head of support services.

“Vehicles were stopped and searched, which resulted in issuing traffic fines to the drivers who contravened the Road Traffic Act,” said Ndlela.
The station’s commander, Lieutenant Colonel Nkululeko Kweyama, praised the female officers for their effort and commitment in creating a safer space for the community by enforcing the law.
