Help identify deceased N2 pedestrian

The deceased was wearing a black shirt and black jeans.

ISIPINGO police are appealing to the public for assistance in tracing the next of kin of a man who died in a road accident on the N2 southbound, opposite the old airport, on September 8, at about 20:30.

Isipingo police spokesperson, Constable Donald Naidoo, said officers responded to the scene and found the victim, a black male believed to be in his 20s, lying under a vehicle. He was declared dead at the scene.

“The deceased was wearing a black shirt and black jeans. Preliminary investigations indicate that he was knocked by a motor vehicle,” said Naidoo.

A case of culpable homicide has been opened at Isipingo SAPS. Police are urging anyone who may have information that could help identify the deceased to contact Detective Sergeant Zinhle Magwaza on 082 077 6757, Constable Naidoo on 082 411 6351, or Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
