Animal love on full display at Amanzimtoti SPCA’s Spring open day [Pics]

A relaxing environment, happy shoppers and even happier little animals were the order of the day at Amanzimtoti SPCA's open day.

AMANZIMTOTI SPCA volunteers and staff raised their devotion to animals to another level on September 20 when the NPO hosted the community for its open day.

Visitors made a special trip to the SPCA to relish the relaxing atmosphere, munch down on yummy meals and sweet treats, support local artisans and meet the animals Amanzimtoti SPCA cares for, with some even looking to give a pup a home.

“We express our deepest gratitude to the public who came to support us at our open day. We raised some much-needed funds. The day was thoroughly enjoyable. We are immensely thankful to staff and volunteers who made the day not only possible, but a resounding success. Thank you to the stall owners who came through, and community members who donated goods for the shop, and baked goods for the tea garden,” said Michelle Hannan, of the Amanzimtoti SPCA.
