Warner Beach Subway spruce-up [Pics]

Sapphire Coast Tourism and its merry band of volunteers got to work reinvigorating the Warner Beach Subway.

A DECADE after its first community makeover, the iconic Warner Beach subway is getting a vibrant new look thanks to Sapphire Coast Tourism and VOV Trust.

The upgrade, which is in progress, began on November 11 in an effort to bring colour and life back to the local landmark.

Romy Wenzel, of Sapphire Coast Tourism, expressed immense thanks to Vusi Michael Zondi, Siyabonga Sibusiso Cele, Sanele Gasa, Elton Mvuna, Christine Andrews and Zeele Pauw for their work in reviving the subway.
