Road closure: Truck overturns on San Gabriel Avenue

A truck overturned while travelling along San Gabriel Avenue, blocking access to the road.

BOTH San Gabriel Avenue and Longacres Road are closed after a truck overturned today (December 8), effectively blocking the road.

The road previously came under scrutiny by residents living nearby due to the frequency of accidents there.

A witness alleged that the driver was speeding and lost control while taking the sharp bend along the road.

The driver sustained minor injuries.
