What’s on in Amanzimtoti this festive season?
Tons of festive fun is on offer along the Sapphire Coast this year, from beach activities, to charity events, markets and family events.
FABULOUS festive fun is on the horizon for the Sapphire Coast this year, with holiday magic fit for locals and visitors alike, from spectacular coastal activities to family events, charity drives and diverse artisanal markets.
Romy Wenzel of Sapphire Coast Tourism said this year’s programme builds upon the success of previous years and promises something for every holidaymaker.

“From thrilling beach activities to community-led events and fantastic festive markets, this year’s programme captures the welcoming spirit of the Sapphire Coast. We’re also proud to support meaningful initiatives that remind us that the festive season is a time of generosity and connection,” said Wenzel.

What’s on?
- Toti Gift Market
Kuswag Skool plays host to a bustling festive marketplace offering handmade crafts, décor, toys, clothing, artisanal foods, and unique Christmas gifts. It started on December 6 and runs until January 10 from 08:00 to 19:00 daily.
- Christmas Market at Re/Max Toti
A charming seasonal market featuring local vendors, festive treats, handmade goods, ornaments and holiday inspiration began on December 8 and runs until December 24. It takes place at Re/Max Toti on 14 Lewis Drive.
- GoSolr Brand Activations
From December 12-13 and December 19-20, GoSolR will engage holidaymakers with solar-energy demos, interactive displays and product education, promoting sustainable living.
- Sapphire Sizzling Summer Beach Holiday Programme will take place at Amanzimtoti Main beach from December 20-21 and December 27-31 from 09:00 to 14:00 daily.
The annual beachfront highlight returns with beach olympics, music, games, prizes, and giveaways, all free of charge and open to all ages. Wheels on Waves is also on hand with two sand-cruisers, floating wheelchairs that allow disabled users to experience the ocean.
- Teddy Bear Drive with The Meg Foundation
On December 21, visitors are encouraged to bring along a brand new or pre-loved teddy bears in clean and good condition to help reach the target of 1 000 teddies for sick children in hospitals, disability centres, and disadvantaged communities.
