Isipingo residence near petrol station catches fire

A fire at a residence behind an Isipingo petrol station prompted a quick response by emergency personnel to extinguish the fire.

A RESIDENCE near a Sasol Garage along Old Main Road, Isipingo, caught alight, prompting local emergency services to spur into action. The fire has since been extinguished.

eThekwini Fire and Rescue, along with other emergency response units, attended to the scene to contain and put out the fire. It confirmed that there were no injuries.

Responders expelled initial reports of the garage being on fire, explaining that the fire originated at, and was contained to, a residence behind the garage.
