Second ‘Chance’ for pup rescued at Isipingo Beach

A puppy with a head wound full of parasites was rescued from near-drowning in a tidal pool at Tiger Rocks, Isipingo Beach.

PET Rescue Isipingo saved a six-week-old pup, Chance, from drowning in a tidal pool at Tiger Rocks Beach, Isipingo, during the weekend.

Pet Rescue Isipingo’s Lalitha Mahadow explained that Chance was alone and was suffering from a head wound full of parasites. She front-lined, bathed and fed him a warm meal to assist in his recovery.

He is a cross-breed expected to grow into a healthy, medium-sized dog. He is a friendly boy and gets along well with other dogs. If you would like to make Chance a part of your family, contact Lalitha Mahadow on 060 527 0101.
