Furry friends and fabulous fundraising at SPCA

Amanzimtoti SPCA held its annual Spring Open Day, welcoming potential pet owners, community members, local artisans and more.

KICKING off celebrations of World Animal Week was Amanzimtoti SPCA, which hosted its Spring Open Day on October 3, welcoming prospective pet owners, local artisans and community members.

Visitors were able to meet the staff and volunteers of the non-profit organisation, the precious puppies and dapper dogs, all the while supporting its fundraising efforts as well as local artisans.

The NPO’s Michelle Hannan extended a big “thank you” to those who contributed towards the open day’s success.

“We were blessed with beautiful weather, a great turnout and much needed funds were raised. We look forward to seeing you at our next open day,” said Hannan.

Support the SPCA

As part of World Animal Week, volunteers will be raising funds for the NPO at local malls including Kingsburgh Mall, Seadoone Mall, PnP Arbour Crossing and outside Kwikspar Victory on October 10 from 10:00 until 14:00.
