The community rallied together at the Amanzimtoti Sports Precinct for a clean-up, clearing trails, painting bollards, and collecting litter.
A CLEAN, green space was the goal for a clean-up initiative led by Tidy Towns Amanzimtoti on October 17 which focused on making a visible difference at the Amanzimtoti Sports precinct.

From litter collection and overgrown trail clearing to painting bollards and tables, the community pulled together and removed so many bags that organiser Romy Wenzel joked she lost count.

Wenzel expressed thanks to Amanzimtoti Primary School, Amanzimtoti High School, the Lions Club of Amanzimtoti, Amanzimtoti Cycling Club, the Recycling Association of SA, Pam Golding Amanzimtoti, Seabreeze Hardware and many community volunteers for making the project a resounding success.
