The club collected the donation earlier in the month as it made its way to Johannesburg to compete in a soccer tournament where it performed well.
The club’s Cindy Blake said this valuable contribution will go a long way towards supporting Toti United’s coaching staff in developing and nurturing the young football talent.
“The equipment will play an important role in enhancing our training sessions, improving players’ skills, and ensuring that our young athletes are better prepared to perform at their best in the upcoming season. At Toti United FC, we believe that investing in our players is an investment in their future. As a club, we are committed to creating opportunities for young players to grow, develop their abilities, build confidence, and reach their full potential both on and off the field. Donations such as this make a meaningful difference in helping us achieve these goals,” said Blake.
Toti United has recognised that the development of young footballers requires a collective effort, and said that partnerships with organisations such as uMngeni-uThukela Water are essential in helping community sports clubs provide quality development opportunities for their players.
“Thank you, uMngeni-uThukela Water, for believing in our club and investing in the future of our young football stars. Your generosity is greatly appreciated by our management, coaching staff, players, and the entire Toti United FC family. Together, we are building a stronger future for grassroots football,” she said.
