Daphne van der Sandt of Kuswag Skool served as netball organiser during the action-packed event. She said, “We were so excited for this sports week, having schools from all over. At the netball courts, we had fun and we saw girls with boat loads of talent. Some matches our Kuswag Skool U11 and U13 sides played were really tough, but we know what to work on for the season that commences next term. Over the three days, we played nine games.”
Kuswag’s U13 hockey coach, Michelle Enslin, added that coaches got to put teams together to have some fun and get in some good hockey as pre-season training for next term.
Rugby coach Zetwee Hattingh said, “We had some crunch matches for rugby thus far. There was a great deal of sportsmanship on display and the atmosphere was electric. The boys are enjoying every moment. Thank you to our union referees who handled each match superbly.”
