It was a fun-filled day for learners at Amanzimtoti Primary School as the Grade 7s got a taste of entrepreneurship during market day.

IDEAS morphed into bite-sized businesses at Amanzimtoti Primary School when its Grade Seven learners gave small business ownership a shot on September 11.

The learners created their own business plans, identified target markets, planned products and services, set prices, calculated costs and worked out potential profits, all before implementing it on the day.

The school’s Thomas Bagley said the learners enjoyed a fun-filled day of learning, creativity and teamwork, with plenty of smiles along the way.

“We are incredibly proud of their enthusiasm, innovative ideas and entrepreneurial drive. Who knows, we may have some future business leaders in the making,” said Bagley.
