UK visitors edge out Toti tennis players
A decision will be made this week regarding the club championships and members will be notified.
AMANZIMTOTI Tennis Club’s UK visitors arrived last Thursday and spent a day limbering up for the tournament on Saturday.
What an amazing afternoon’s tennis everyone played.
Winners were Silvan and Natalie who were part of the UK group and runners-up were the club’s own Richard and Beth. A great final was played, well done to all.
All this tennis was followed by a spitbraai and loads of socialising, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed. Huge thanks to the committee members and many others who were part of putting this function together. Well done on a great job.
A decision will be made this week regarding the club championships and members will be notified. The development clinic continues on Saturday mornings from 9am to 10am. Take your children down to the club for an hour of free coaching by Madi and Gabriel. There are some tennis racquets available for use and children should ideally wear suitable tennis shoes.
