LULU Bingham, Trish Farmer and Charlotte Kohl of Winklespruit Bowling Club were the overall winners for the monthly women’s Victory Kwikspar trips, which was played on Thursday 3 December.

First session winners were Pamela Chalder-Royle, Jeanette Els and Sue Welch and winners of the second session were Elaine Critchlow, Norma Raath and Margaret Van Belkum.

The 100 board was won by Joan Van Rensburg. Jacqui Fouche won the spider and Margaret Van Belkum won the mystery prize. The attendance draw was won by Elaine Critchlow on Friday, 4 December, who was not present, so it will be a carry over.

The women played a friendly competition after social bowls on Friday afternoon, which was organised by Eddie Bingham who also donated a chicken as the prize. Trish Farmer won the chicken. The players and spectators both agreed that it was great fun. Well done Eddie.

The Steve Evenwell 2-4-2 will be played on Sunday, 13 December.

Remember the Christmas dinner will be held on 11 December at 5.30pm for 6pm. Affiliation fees are due by 15 December. A list of club competitions for 2016 has been placed on the notice board.

Thank you to Brian Cox for assisting the committee with the laying of the new carpet tiles.

Congratulations to everyone celebrating their birthdays during the week and a speedy recovery to all those who are not well. Prayers and thoughts are with them.
