Amanzimtoti schools butt heads at rugby trails

Both teams performed exceptionally during their trail match. The day also saw some impressive young talent along with good sportsmanship between the schools.

The sunny weather and electric atmosphere was the perfect setting for a day filled with trial rugby matches at Kuswag Skool on Saturday, 15 February. Each game was 30 minutes long, and 15 minutes per side. Amanzimtoti High School’s U16 took on Kuswag Skool’s U16 team.

Both teams performed exceptionally during their trail match. The day also saw some impressive young talent along with good sportsmanship between the schools. However, in this specific match, Amanzimtoti High managed to score a total of three tries while Kuswag Skool squeezed in just one. Conversions were not part of the day, so no kicking to posts were counted.

All in all, the trials were a great practice round to get the teams in good spirits before rugby season officially kicks off.
