Toti youth rugby players give it their all
Amanzimtoti Rugby Club’s U13 Orange team and U14 team won against Rovers and Hillcrest, while the other six teams lost against their opponents.
DESPITE a tough day on the field for most of Amanzimtoti Youth Rugby Club‘s teams on September 1, the players gave it their all against the visiting sides.
The club’s chairperson, Anton Labuschagne, said they had two wins and six losses, and are now down to the final two tournaments of the season.

“It was a tough day on the pitch at Kuswag Skool, with four of our boys getting injured. We wish them a speedy recovery. In brighter news, our U14 side is still undefeated. What an incredible achievement,” he said.
A proud Labuschagne said that whether they win or lose, the players’ efforts and dedication always shine through. He also gave thanks to the dedicated coaches and managers, and the cheerful supporters.
“Your unwavering support and encouragement is invaluable, and we appreciate all the hard work you put in. To the Toti parents, thank you for being there every step of the way. Your constant encouragement means the world to us,” he said.

- U13 Orange Toti 33–5 Rovers
- U13 Black Toti 10–12 South Coast Warriors
- U14 Toti 10–7 Hillcrest
- U15 Orange Toti 0–27 Crusaders
- U15 Black Toti 3–15 South Coast Warriors
- U16 Toti 0–19 Hillcrest
- U18 Toti 17–29 Hillcrest
