Lions host car show
Event will showcase up to 300 vehicles fitted with ear-popping car sound.
Ethekwini South Lions Club hosts a car show on Sunday, 29 June at the old municipal grounds, next to the circus site.
“The show will feature a whole spectrum of cars, including new and classic. We hope to also have some vintage cars and only vintage motorcycles will be considered,” said president, Andy Nilsen.
Dreamworks in Springfield Park will showcase up to 300 vehicles it has fitted with ear-popping car sound. “These will include a wide range from sports cars to classics,” said Andy.
The show will also feature a craft market. “We are looking for genuine, handmade craft stallholders.” To book a stall, contact Mandy on 083-651-3476 or email mr@adws.co.za.
“There will be a beer garden, live entertainment and lots of inflatables for the children to enjoy. The emphasis is on a family day.”
Entry will cost R10 for adults and R5 for children and pensioners.
