SATURDAY, 15 JULY: Upper South Coast Art Association (USCAA) offers its drawing class from 9am until 11.30am. The class will be based on live drawing. Take along your pencils, a black fineliner, charcoal and possibly three pastels in red, white and blue to complete your morning artworks. At 1.30pm, USCAA general meeting will take place, followed by demonstrator Mary Slack at 2.30pm. Mary is a well-known artist in KZN and will be sharing her expertise when doing mixed media collages and transfers. This offers something exciting for everyone. TUESDAY, 18 JULY: Join the Israel study group to learn and discover more about Israel’s history, biblical truths relevant to today and Hebrew words and names. WEDNESDAY, 19 JULY: South African Associations of Retired Persons (SAARP) outing to the Marianhill Monastery leaves from Toti Civic Centre by bus at 9.30am. The cost return is about R50 per person plus a voluntary donation to the centre. Members to call Megan on 082-555-1420 for final bookings (available on Whatsapp).

 

SATURDAY, 5 AUGUST: Jabulani senior citizens’ annual fete from 9am to 2pm where visitors can enjoy tombola, music from DJ Fluffy, delicious food on sale, dance-a-thon, pony rides, the Warner Beach Prep school choir, a coffee cafe, boerewors rolls, pancakes, jams, bric-a-brac, crafts, books and more. Entry is free.
